Robert "Bobby" Moscati Jr.

Robert "Bobby" William Moscati Jr., a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on July 20, 2026, in Baltimore, Maryland. Born on November 10, 1958, in Baltimore, Bobby lived a life marked by dedication to his family, service to his country, and a passion for the simple joys of life. Bobby proudly served in the United States Army for ten years, achieving the rank of Chief Warrant Officer 2. As a turbine engine mechanic and Cobra pilot, he demonstrated exceptional skill and commitment. During his time in the military he met and married the love of his life, Suzanne (née Szkutak). They were stationed together in Germany for four years and their union became the foundation of a loving family that would grow and thrive over the years. Following his military service, Bobby embarked on a career as an air traffic controller and later as a truck driver. In both roles, he exemplified hard work and reliability. Whether guiding aircraft safely or navigating the open roads, Bobby approached his work with diligence and professionalism. Beyond his professional achievements, Bobby found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He was an avid golfer who cherished time on the course. He also enjoyed playing billiards, crabbing along Delaware’s shores, and gathering around campfires with loved ones. These hobbies reflected his love for camaraderie and the outdoors. Family was at the heart of Bobby’s life. He is survived by his devoted wife Suzanne; his daughter Christina Moscati; his son Scott Moscati and daughter-in-law Ashley; and five cherished grandchildren: Emma Kistner, Saniya Moscati, Aasha Moscati, Cromardi Moscati, and Aria Moscati. Bobby also leaves behind his siblings Vincent Moscati (Gail) and Anita Daihl (Dwain), as well as numerous nieces and nephews who will remember him fondly. He was predeceased by his parents Robert “Bob” Moscati Sr. and Mary Catherine Moscati (née Thompson); his sister Angela "Angie" Kelly; his brother Eugene “Gino” Moscati; and his grandson Grey Moscati. Their memories remain intertwined with Bobby’s legacy. Bobby’s warmth, humor, and steadfast presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched throughout his remarkable journey. A Visitation will be held on August 4, 2026, from 05:00 PM to 07:00 PM at Johnson-Fosbrink Funeral Home 8521 Loch Raven Blvd. A Memorial Mass will be held on August 5, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Johnson-Fosbrink Funeral Home 8521 Loch Raven Blvd. Doors for the service will open at 10:30 AM. An Interment will be held on August 5, 2026, from 01:00 PM to 01:30 PM at Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery 11501 Garrison Forest Rd. End time is an approximation.
